TERMS OF SERVICE

1. INTRODUCTION

These terms and conditions (together the "Terms") govern your use of the Coronation Fantasy League Application (the "Web App") and set out the rules of participation in the Coronation Fantasy League Game ("the Game"). The Terms is a legal agreement between you and Coronation Asset Management Limited ("Coronation" or "Us" or "We" or "Our") and are the terms upon which We, at our discretion, permit you to access and use the Web App at https://fantasy.cwagents.ng/

2. DEFINITIONS

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • Application - means the application to enter a fund manager selection in The Game.
  • Game Period - means from the Game Start to Game End.
  • The Game - means the Coronation Fantasy League Game.
  • The Prize - means the prize awarded for the winner of The Game.
  • Player Name - means the name chosen by the Participant for use in The Game
  • Participant - means a person who has entered into The Game
  • The Stock Universe - means the selection of stocks available within The Game, that has been selected from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
  • Website - means URL and any related sub-domains
  • The Prizes – means prizes available to be won by Participants

3. IMPORTANT NOTICE

By using the Web App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms and will continue same during the use of the Web App. The Terms are available in the English language only. If you do not agree to the Terms at any time, you are advised to stop using the Web App. You confirm that any information and details provided by you to Us, including on registration for an account are true, accurate and up to date in all respect and at all times. The Web App is open to the general public, however there are restrictions on age as contained in Clause 4 hereunder. There are no geographical restrictions on entry to the Game, however, to be eligible to win prizes, participants must be resident in Nigeria.

4. ELIGIBILITY

By using the Web App, you agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions. We reserve the right to cancel the account of any participant who is suspected of not adhering to the Game rules or is suspected of playing under a false identity. A committee will oversee the selection of the winner to ensure all the relevant rules are adhered to. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified from the Game. Systematic collusion or collaboration between players shall be deemed to be equivalent to multiple entries.

All participants in the Game must be aged 18 years or older at the start date of the Game. You agree not to allow anyone under the age of 18 access or use our Web App from your device. Employees of Coronation and its affiliate companies or their direct family members/partners, and anyone else connected with Coronation Fantasy League may enter but shall not be eligible to win and claim any prizes.

Household, family and friend collaboration is not permitted and Coronation reserves the right to cancel the account of any Participant who it suspects of not adhering to the Game rules or is suspected of playing under a false identity.

5. YOUR DEVICE

To use the Web App, your device must meet certain operating system requirements, which are described in the FAQ. You should ensure your device meets these requirements before attempting to use the Web App. You must ensure you have all necessary rights to access the Web App with your device. Charges may be applied by service providers for internet access on such devices. You accept full responsibility (including service providers charges) for the use of the Web App on any device, whether or not it is owned by you.

6. ENTRY

Entry into the Game is free. Entries to the Game can only be submitted via the Web App. Applications should be submitted using the official game site at https://fantasy.cwagents.ng/. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All participants must enter the Game by completing the Profile section of the Web App. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any player names that have been duplicated or that are determined, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate or offensive.

We reserve the right to remove a participant from the Game at our absolute discretion if they do not act in accordance with the Terms, or the spirit of the Game. Any eligibility for prizes will cease immediately upon such removal from the Game. Any changes to the Game will be notified to participants as soon as possible by Us. When given, prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and We reserve the right to refuse any prize without giving notice.

7. ENTRY RULES

We reserve the right to refuse to accept any entry which in our opinion does not comply with these Terms or which contravenes the spirit of the Game. Coronation further has an absolute discretion to disqualify any entry/application, or vary, amend, supplement, or waive the Terms of the Game at any time and participants agree that no liability shall attach itself to Coronation as a result thereof and that the exercise of such discretion shall not result in any compensation being payable or paid to any participant. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the participant agrees to abide by these Terms. We may from time to time publish information relating to taking part in the Game and this information shall be deemed to form part of these Terms.

Multiple entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

8. PORTFOLIO SELECTION

At the start of the Main Game, each Participant can create a virtual portfolio, credited with a fantasy N100 Million to invest in a selection of listed companies.

Participants can make unlimited amends to each of their portfolio selections until the end of the Game Entry period without charge. Each Participant is allowed to create two Funds that represent the Participant's portfolios. A Fund consists of its current value in Virtual Naira, current Order, and the next Order.

9. THE GAME

A Prize will be awarded to the Participant who has the highest percentage return to two decimal places by the end of The Game.

Each Participant can create up to two funds to Enter the Game. If a Participant has created a second fund, this will also qualify for the main prize, subject to verification of the Participant's eligibility to win. You must have Entered the Game by December 15th to qualify for the main prize.

The game is dependent on current and correct stock market data from the NGX (Nigerian Exchange Limited). Coronation and its partners cannot be held liable for any missing, incorrect, delayed, faulty, or otherwise compromised market data.

10. PRIZES

All prizes are individual and non-transferable.

Claims for any prizes are subject to winners providing their personal verification details to fantasyleague@coronation.ng within 30 days of winning. Winners may also be requested to provide proof of age (photo ID) confirming they are over 18 years old, or proof of parental consent if they are under 18 years of age.

Coronation reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of, or terminate, competitions and/or prizes and bonuses at any time and without prior notice.

11. COMPETITIONS AND PRIZE DRAWS

Where additional competitions and prize draws are introduced into The Game, the winners will be notified within 28 days of the closing date of each competition or prize draw. The winning players' names can be found published via URL for two weeks after the announcement of the winners. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The winner(s) will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date(s).

12. PRIZE WINNERS

Subject to verification of their eligibility to win a prize, Coronation will contact the Prize Winners by phone and/or email and The Prizes will be delivered within 28 days of such notification.

Should Coronation be unable to contact a winning Participant or be unable to confirm their eligibility to a Prize within 28 days of the Prize being awarded, then Coronation may, at its absolute discretion, determine that the Participant be ineligible for the Prize concerned and instead select the Participant with the next highest percentage return as a Prize Winner.

13. TIE BREAK FOR PRIZES

In the event of a tie for any of The Prizes, that Prize will be awarded by means of dividing the prize money equally between all tied entries.

14. TAX

Coronation will not be liable for any tax liability which is incurred by any person as a result of, or in connection with, or arising from the winning of any prize in the Game. Settlement of any tax liability will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the prize.

15. ACCOUNT

You may need to create an account with Us to access or use the Web App. Your account is personal to you and may not be transferred to or shared with others. You are responsible for keeping your account and login details secure and are responsible for all activities that are carried out under them.

16. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Protecting your privacy is very important to us. We like to keep in touch with you, and We will send you information or advice about features and services that We provide. By using the Web App, you agree that We can approach you in this way.

17. YOUR RIGHTS TO USE THE WEB APP

In exchange for you complying with the Terms, We grant you at our sole discretion, a revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to access and use the Web App and download any content onto your device(s).

18. RESTRICTIONS ON YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES

You agree not to copy, modify, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works based on the Web App, not to create alternative servers, not to rely on the accuracy of any data provided, and not to use the Web App for any illegal or unlawful purpose.

19. ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE WEB APP

You acknowledge that the Web App enables you to communicate with other users. You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive, or illegal content, not to spread rumours or manipulate markets, not to provide investment advice, and not to impersonate others or advertise products.

20. DISCLAIMERS

The Information is provided for personal information and educational entertainment purposes only. It is not intended as investment advice. The Information may comprise views and opinions from the general public who may have little training or experience. We do not endorse any opinions or recommendations made.

21. INVESTMENT WARNING

The Website and the Services are only provided for your general information and use and are not intended to cater for your particular requirements. The price of funds, shares, and investments can go down as well as up. Past performance cannot be relied upon as a guide to future performance.

22. LEGAL RIGHTS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances shall We have any liability to You for any loss or damage incurred as a result of You using the Web App. We are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach, indirect losses, or failures due to events beyond our control.

23. REMEDY

If you breach the Terms, We may disable your account, block your access, or restrict your use of the Web App. You agree to compensate Us for any loss We suffer as a result of your breach.

24. AVAILABILITY OF SERVICES

We do not guarantee that the Web App will be available 100% of the time. We reserve the right to alter the Web App at any time, including adding, removing or changing features.

25. ENDING YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES

You can choose to stop using the Web App at any time. We may withdraw your rights to use the Web App at our sole discretion with immediate effect.

26. CHANGES TO THE TERMS

We may update or amend the Terms to reflect updates to our Web App and/or as a result of legal or regulatory changes. Your continued use of the Web App will signify your agreement to those changes.

27. RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES

The Terms are not intended to give rights to anyone except you and Us.

28. ASSIGNMENT

We may transfer our rights under the Terms to any third party without having to obtain your prior consent.

29. NO WAIVER OF LEGAL RIGHTS

If you breach the Terms and We take no action against you, We will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach the Terms.

30. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The Terms constitute all terms agreed upon between You and Us and supersede any prior agreements in relation to our Web App.

31. VALIDITY

If any part of the Terms is disallowed or found to be ineffective by any court or regulator, the other provisions shall continue to apply.

32. COMPLAINTS

We are willing to investigate any complaints to ensure that our high standards are maintained. However, Our decision is final and We shall not be obliged to enter into any correspondence regarding the Game and/or the awarding of the Prizes.

33. JURISDICTION

Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Nigerian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any claim arising out of or in connection with the Terms.
